DETAILS:
- Made in the early 1980's, this Fender Lead II has single coil pickups, black
finish and a black pickguard. At first glance, one might mistake it for a Strat. While I have not confirmed any
use of this guitar in the studio, Bono did use it in the early years - up through The Unforgettable Fire tour - for live
permormances of "A Day Without Me". This can also be seen in "U2: Live Under A Blood Red Sky" [vhs].
